Meet our Team

There are many people who keep this ministry running either behind the scenes or on the front lines. We are grateful for their commitment to sharing the Gospel with children in the North Central Chapter of Iowa.

Our purpose is to reach the children in our area with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We partner with local churches and individuals to provide training and resources to reach the boys and girls in their communities and beyond!

The Comittee

CEF is run by the devoted people who serve on local committees. Our North Central committee is made up of some of the most passionate people. Jacob and Tabitha Nelson; Lydia Ball; Scott and Hannah Kratzer; and Brandon and Leah Roberts.

Our CYIA Teens

Every summer we send teens from our chapter to Christian Youth in Action! This is a training for teenagers to learn how to teach 5-day clubs and share the Gospel in an effective way.

Julee Ballard

As our CYIA/Summer Coordinator, Julee is in charge of scheduling 5-day clubs and supporting/managing our CYIA teens!

Christina is our Good News Club Coordinator! She works to start new Good News Clubs and manage them during the school year!

Our Ministry

5-Day Clubs

In 1.5 hours, our certified teens teach kids memory verses, Bible lessons, a missionary story, songs, and more! These clubs can be in your backyard, at a city park, or in a church!

Fall Festival

A free event put on by our local committee near Pilot Mound. We have carnival games, an obstacle course, a corn pool, apple cider, a hayride, hear Bible stories, and more!

Good News Club

This club is dedicated to reaching kids during the school year, by teaching right after school! Similar to a 5-day club, kids learn Bible stories, songs and more!

Good News Spectacular

Our local committee hosts this free inflatables event in Marshalltown! We have giant inflatable bouncy houses, obstacle courses, and games! We also provide free popcorn and snowcones!
